CEG Completes Multi-
Site Due Diligence Project

Hydrogeology/Water Supplies
Proper management of groundwater resources is critical to improving and maintaining the delicate balance between responsible land development and its impact on the natural environment.  Through careful and thorough investigation, CEG geologists and hydrogeologists identify, map, quantify and determine quality of groundwater aquifers that are available in a given site area.  The hydrogeological investigation process assists developers in determining whether these aquifers can sustain the proposed development density.

By evaluating hydrogeological data from the site and surrounding area, evaluating aquifer sensitivity, installing test wells, conducting short and long term field pumping tests, collecting and analyzing water quality samples, permitting and interfacing with the regulatory community, CEG can help to ensure the successful development of sustainable groundwater supply.  Whether the proposed development specifies private individual water supply wells, or a regulated community well system, CEG has the tools to conduct a cost effective investigation tailored to the specific needs of the client.
