The protection of Michigan's and the Great Lakes Region's countless lakes, ponds, streams, creeks and rivers is important to everyone. From both environmental quality and economic perspectives, management of these resources is vital to our State's and region's growth and future. CEG staff members have been contracted by various clients to evaluate compliance issues, develop process changes and monitor potential impact to sensitive surface water bodies proximal to industrially developed areas. Our technical team assists our clients in preparation of permits for wastewater discharges in accordance with the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES), developing
stormwater pollution prevention plans, monitoring surface water quality in lakes and rivers, and conducting sediment quality investigations. CEG has proven to be both an asset to the business community and an advocate for responsible environmental stewardship.
